American movie company offered to make a movie of "20th Century Boys".
But Urasawa rejected the offer because he thinks America was the centure of the world in 1960's,
and this manga is about Japan (the outer side of America) in 1960's.
So he thinks they can't make good movie of "20th Century Boys".
In 1960's, young people was said that think about the future.
But the future is thought as frightening thing for the younger generation in the United States.
Japan is also the same situation.
Now is the time of Dystopia named Utopia.
Kenji (the character of "20th cetury Boys") could think about the future, and also he can live in the present. He captured a three-dimensional time.
Urasawa felt like he melted when he saw the lines drawn by Osamu Tezuka and Katsuhiro Otomo(AKIRA).
Then he wanted to draw lines like theirs, and he would like to be a manga artist.
